Making The First Move

Do we all experience a moment in time where we ask ourselves “Now what?” No matter what the reason or cause to ask ourselves that question, it must be heard in echo throughout the day, every day of the year, by those watching down or looking up at us.

I’ve decided to start this electronic memoir with the intent of conveying one simple message; no matter where you go, you will always be with you.

I have moved over twenty times in my 44 years of life since the age of 17, “over the River and through the woods” some may say. It’s been a journey through different cities and towns, living in houses and apartments, being alone or with people or pets. Every address, every step taken “moving” forward has brought me to this exact moment. The intensity of that thought becomes overwhelming the more I think about it. By deciding to go left instead of right my path grew with bliss or imploded with darkness. No matter which turn I made, I always brought myself with me. I could never run, hide or move away from myself. It pissed me off so bad that I just kept moving, waiting for it to finally work that ONE time! What is the definition of insanity again, oh yea, that’s it.

Each entry will share more and more about the light and darkness of The Jersey Gypsy. I hope you stick around to read!
